This chapter examines Title 22 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code (the “CCC”), which governs private limited companies, and the Public Limited Company Act, B.E. 2535 (1992), which governs public limited companies in Thailand. Please note that as at the date of this publication, a draft legislation to amend the CCC has been approved by the parliament. Such legislation will become effective after the lapse of 90 days from the publication date in the Government Gazette. Therefore, certain information contained in this publication may not be up to date once the Amendment to the Thai Civil and Commercial Code, B.E. 2565 comes into force.
