This chapter provides a general explanation of the intellectual property legal system in Thailand. The main bodies of law that cover intellectual property rights are the Trademark Act, B.E. 2534 (1991), Patent Act, B.E. 2522 (1979), Copyright Act, B.E. 2537 (1994), and the Trade Secrets Act, B.E. 2545 (2002).
