On 25 March 2022, Chandler MHM held a Webinar titled “Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA): No Longer Paused, Are You Prepared?”. The presenters from Chandler MHM were Jutharat Anuktanakul, Pranat Laohapairoj, Suphakorn Chueabunchai and Theerapat Sombatsatapornkul.

The panel discussion included an update the present situation with regards to the implementation of the PDPA in Thailand, with a focus on the pain-points, issues most commonly raised by operators and practical solutions given the current circumstances. The panelists also discussed what actions businesses need to take now to ensure that they are compliant with the law as well as providing a reminder of what the new law is seeking to achieve. The high level of attendance and engagement was an indication of the importance of this topic to many businesses.
