On Wednesday 8 March 2023, the Thailand Arbitration Centre held a moderated panel discussion to mark international women’s rights day. The theme of the discussion was “Break the Bias”. The head of our dispute resolution practice and Member of the Women Lawyers Association of Thailand, Waree Shinsirikul, was a member of the panel to share her thoughts.  

The panel discussion addressed the issue of diversity in international arbitration, specifically the issue of unconscious bias. The panelists gave their views of unconscious bias from their personal experience, and how to tackle this issue in the workplace and thrive in their careers.
