“THE LAWNCH PAD for lawyers”, is a program in held in collaboration between the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University and Chandler MHM (CMHM) to provide unique skills training for final year students at law schools in Thailand. This program successfully concluded on Saturday 24th September 2022.
The training was conducted both on-site and online covering essential non-legal skills and legal skills relevant to a range of practice areas. Almost 30 lawyers from CMHM participated in this program by sharing their knowledge in 12 sessions to the participants from 11 law schools.
On the final day a competition was held among the participants who were divided into groups to provide legal advice in a mock business case. The winners were from Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Phayao University, Ramkhamhaeng University, Mahasarakham University and Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. An individual award was granted to Ms. Ketsirin Wisetwatcharawong from Chulalongkorn University.
Chisako Takaya and Jessada Sawatdipong, co-managing partners, commented “We are immensely proud of the contribution made by our lawyers to this unique program. It is important for experienced lawyers in private practice to share their skills and knowledge with the future generation of lawyers to support the development of legal practice in Thailand”.
