On 24 June 2022, the Bangkok and Vietnam offices of MHM held a Webinar titled “Investing in Real Estate in Vietnam”. The Webinar was moderated by Tananan Thammakiat and Piyawannee Watanasakolpunt from Chandler MHM. Panelists included Ha Thi Dung and Nguyen Ngoc Phuc from MHM Vietnam who have extensive experience advising on real estate projects in Vietnam.

This Q&A style Webinar covered a range of issues of interest to Thai investors including rights over land, structures to acquire land, issues related to the development of real estate projects and the operation of a real estate business in Vietnam. Common exit structures were also discussed. The high attendance and engagement was an indication of the level of interest in this topic.
