On May 13, 2025, Chandler Mori Hamada and AWR Lloyd held a joint seminar at the W Hotel Bangkok on Thailand’s energy transition in 2025 titled “Reflections, Projections, and Aspirations: Thailand’s Energy Transition in 2025” the seminar provided a comprehensive overview of government policy, regulatory issues, and practical and commercial challenges.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Piti Eiamchamroonlarp, Director of the Energy Law Center, Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University and a member of the Ministry of Energy's Law Development Commission, delivered the keynote address. Tip-apa Limvichai, Monsicha Pongrujikorn, and Sooksun Popun-Ngarm from Chandler Mori Hamada presented on key regulatory updates in Thailand, while Alexander Wood, Vivek Mantri, and Nicolas Ponset from AWR Lloyd focused on regional market developments, trends, and business strategies related to the energy transition. The presentations were followed by a lively Q&A panel discussion.
